CURRENT OPENINGS - Marketing Coordinator


The Marketing Coordinator will serve as the primary communicator for all marketing communications internally and externally. Reporting directly to the Strategic Business Director, you will collaborate with the SBD and the marketing team to improve processes, create marketing plans, design and execute promotional and collateral materials to continually increase brand awareness and grow business. Field travel is expected to be 15-40%. 

Location: Qualified candidates must live near our Arlington, WA facility and will work there at the corporate location.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistency by coordinating the internal and external flow of information and communications and disseminate them according to plan and brand strategy
  • Act as a working manager to a small marketing support team, internal and external
  • Develop, implement and maintain processes and policy efficiencies for the marketing department
  • Coordinate the development of the departments’ annual budget and marketing plan and monitor budget by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Lead the marketing and graphic design teams in the planning, creation, editing, printing, distribution and maintenance of all collateral marketing materials and monthly e-mail marketing campaigns
  • Oversight and participation in all aspects of tradeshow marketing, including: preparation, attendance, set up and take-down, lead follow up distribution and mailings
  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts along with new product releases.
  • Plans, prepares, coordinates and communicates marketing and advertising strategies and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars
  • Analyze and tracks product line sales related to marketing. 
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
  • Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
  • Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, vendor and customer data, forecasts, account analysis and product information
  • Integrate and maintain brand and marketing consistency through all electronic media sources including: BOWMAN website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, e-mail and all other public methods of branding
  • Provide information to the IT team with updates to maintain industry specific web databases
  • Collaborate with the BOWMAN IT manager regarding targeted marketing SEO strategies
  • Create project timelines and content by collaborating with key internal and external personnel to initiate and maintain product video production and integration onto the website
  • Promote products and services through public relations and philanthropic initiatives
  • Create and distribute customer surveys

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field and 2 years of marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in Marketing in the Medical/Healthcare Industry
  • Prior management experience preferred

Special Qualifications and Remarks:

  • All business expenses reimbursed.
  • Availability and willingness to travel as needed (by automobile, airplane, train, public transportation) 15-40%
